Call for Papers

The LUISS Guido Carli and the Università di Roma “Tor Vergata” are very pleased to organize the 39th Annual Conference of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE) which is scheduled to take place 2-4 September 2012 in Rome, Italy. (Note that EARIE 2012 will run from Sunday to Tuesday rather than the usual Thursday to Saturday schedule).

The EARIE Conference
The annual EARIE conference provides a platform to present and discuss the latest research in the wider field of industrial economics. This popular event attracts more than 400 participants annually. The current president of EARIE is Patrick Rey (TSE and IDEI).

The conference will take place at the LUISS Guido Carli, in the centrally located area of Parioli. (Note that there has been a change of venue since the first Call for Papers was circulated in late 2011 – we are pleased that LUISS is now on board for EARIE 2012!)

Rome (Roma)
Rome is one of Europe’s largest – and the world’s most successful - city “brands”, both in terms of reputation and assets. Its historic city centre is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Monuments and museums such as the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums are among the world’s 50 most-visited tourist destinations (both of which receive more than 4 million visitors every year).

The social programme of the EARIE 2012 Conference will include private visits to the Terme di Caracalla (Baths of Caracalla) and the Cappella Sistina (Sistine Chapel). Definitely not to be missed!
